Follow me on Instagram at sharpharmade! . Wednesday November 30, 2016 is Stay Home Because You're Well Day. "Isn’t it a shame to waste your day off feeling sick? When you finally get some time away from the monotony of the office, isn’t it better to actually enjoy it? Of course it is! And that’s the thinking behind ‘Stay Home Because You’re Well Day’. Thomas and Ruth Roy created Stay Home Because You’re Well Day under the name of Wellcat Holidays and Herbs. They have stated that it exists so that, “we can all call in “well,” instead of faking illness, and stay home from work.” The point of this holiday is to take a moment to just slow down and enjoy life, seeing as how it has become so very hectic over the recent years, what with the endless barrage of phone calls, text messages, emails, voicemails, etc. that we are face with on an everyday basis. One of the more important things to remember when deciding to celebrate Stay Home Because You’re Well Day is to be careful and use good judgement; especially, when announcing this to your boss. Some bosses are understanding enough to not take issue with you honesty and your need to just get away from it all every now and then to recharge your batteries, but some could become very agitated. And you wouldn’t want to get in trouble with your boss or lose your job now, would you? So before you decide to participate, think about whether this day is right for you, your line of work, and your boss’ temperament and tolerance for new ideas. If you do decide to celebrate Stay Home Because You’re Well Day, think ahead about what you will do on that day." ^sPm - #sharpharmade Fr 'Days of the Year' . #stayhomebecauseyourewellday #well #stayhome #notsick #healthy #timeout #nowork #freedom #fit #follow #like #celebrate #enjoy #wp #fb #twitter #tweet #buffer #tagsforlike #share #pop #blog #linkinbio #lpt #ig #insta #awesome #fun . @instagram @sharpharmade

Follow me on Instagram at sharpharmade! . Tuesday November 29, 2016 is Giving Tuesday. "Giving Tuesday takes place on the Tuesday directly after American Thanksgiving, which in turn takes place on the 4th Thursday of November. This day was created to help the “giving season” get started, reminding people that there is more to holidays than consumerism and commercialization. The intention was to set aside a day that was all about celebrating the generosity of giving, a great American tradition. The first announcement about Giving Tuesday was made through Mashable, a technology website. The first Giving Tuesday was covered extensively by the Washington Post, the Huffington Post, ABC News, Deseret News, and the White House official blog. This day is organized and celebrated each year with the simple aim of encouraging individuals, families, schools, businesses, and other organizations to give to the less fortunate. This day has been praised by many, including the Chronicle of Philanthropy, a newspaper that covers the nonprofit world, as an antidote to consumer culture and a way for people to give back. There is no shortage of ways in which this can be done. Ideas have included organizing fundraisers, with the intention of giving the proceeds to a charity. There are many ways to give. Many things that can be given besides just money. The hashtag #GivingTuesday was also created to raise awareness about the needy and encourage people to give to charities. The truth is that there are thousands of charity organization the world over, many of which are likely located somewhere near you. Every single one of them could use your help, so find a cause that is especially important to you personally, whether it’s fighting a certain type of cancer, helping to buy schoolbooks for children from very poor families, or helping the animals at your local animal shelter, and take action!" ^sPm - #sharpharmade Fr 'Days of the Year' . #giving #givingtuesday #givingtuesday #tuesday #fit #follow #like #care #twitter #buffer #tweet #linkinbio #lpt #ig #insta #awesome #pop #beautiful #nice #share #blog #tagsforlike #kindness #sharing #givingseason . @instagram @sharpharmade

Follow me on Instagram at sharpharmade! . Sunday November 27, 2016 is Pins And Needles Day. "Pins and Needles Day might not have its origins in what you think! Though when we say ‘pins and needles’ today, you’ll think of that tingly feeling you get when your leg goes to sleep. The original Pins and Needles Day started up in 1937 to commemorate the opening of the pro-Labor musical play of the same name on Broadway. The production would eventually have a massive 1108 performance run, but its namesake day has grown to mean something else entirely. The cast of the original production was made up of sewing machine workers, cutters and basters who simply wanted to do something a little creative in their free time – the play would end up to be so successful that the cast members, who up until then were only able to rehearse at weekends – were able to quit their day jobs and take part in a full 8-weekly show performance schedule. Pins and Needles was written by Harold Rome, a true Renaissance man who played piano in local dance bands while writing music, studying architecture, and pursuing a law degree at the prestigious Yale University. He brought all of those skills together when he produced Pins and Needles, and created a legend that would live on through the ages while pursuing a form of social justice little heard of its time. Perhaps Pins and Needles day would be a good opportunity to listen to the musical’s soundtrack, or even read up on the history of the International Ladies Garment Worker’s Union – once one of the largest Labor unions in the USA. You may even want to find out if anyone in your history was part of that union during the time the play was performed. Keeping aware of where Labor Justice rights are being fought for in the world is another good way to honor Pins And Needles Day." ^sPm - #sharpharmade Fr 'Days of the Year' . #pins #needles #pinsandneedles #pinsandneedlesday #pin #needle #fit #follow #like #celebrate #enjoy #wp #fb #twitter #tweet #buffer #tagsforlike #share #pop #blog #linkinbio #lpt #ig #insta #awesome #laborjustice #labor #justice #rights . @instagram @sharpharmade

I had another dentist appointment, again, this morning! I was there for 3 hours! 9:00 a.m. appointment; and she, finally, finished everthing, by 12:01 p.m. You can call me Shar Chipmunk ... when I left there, that's what my face felt like. I still can't feel my lips, etc.; and I have been home, over 2 hours! I am so hungryyyyyyyy! I want to eat! I need to eat! I still feel like Sharon Chipmunk; but I can't, even, eat any of my nuts! Follow me on Instagram at sharpharmade! . Monday November 21, 2016 is World Hello Day. "World Hello Day may sound extremely basic, as it encourages us to take the opportunity to simply greet people, and to recognize how important simple communication is in our daily lives. The story of how it came to be, however, is a long and interesting one. World Hello Day was first created in 1973 in order to show people, especially the people of the Middle East that conflicts can and should be resolved through communication, and not violence. The idea is that clear, honest communication breeds peace. In the 1970s, the conflict between Egypt and Israel was quite severe, and many people began to fear yet another huge war would end up coming of it. World Hello Day was in fact created as a direct response to the Yom Kippur War that had just finished in October of 1973, during which thousands of both soldiers and innocent civilians were killed. Some soldiers had also been tortured and flat out executed. The peace discussion at the end of the war was the first time that Arab and Israeli officials met for direct public discussion in 25 years. Over the last 42 years since its creation, World Hello Day has been celebrated in 180 countries, as citizens of each of these countries take advantage of this time to express their concerns for world peace. Participating in World Hello Day is quite simple: all you have to do is say hello to at least 10 people during that one day. This is supposed to send a message of openness and goodwill to others. It will always be worth the struggle to make the first move and extend your hand to them in a gesture of peace." ^sPm - #sharpharmade Fr 'Days of the Year' . #fit #follow #like #celebrate #worldhelloday #twitter #tweet #buffer #tagsforlike #share #pop #blog #linkinbio #lpt #ig #insta #awesome #world #hello #peace #goodwill . @instagram @sharpharmade

Follow me on Instagram at sharpharmade! . Sunday November 20, 2016 is Guinness World Record Day. "I think if you come first with a new world record, that is the best. – Haile Gebrselassie World Records aren’t set every day, but world records for new types of things can be. Whether you’re trying to spend the most time hovering a table tennis ball over your mouth (6.35 seconds is the current record) or spend the longest time holding your breath (22 minutes, held by Stig Severinsen) Guinness World Record Day encourages you to stretch the ends of human endurance and creativity, and set that new world record! . Guinness World Record Day was established to give people a day to focus on challenging existing records or putting forth a new record to be put into the books. That latter is for the truly ambitious, but it’s entirely possible! . In fear of being redundant, one celebrates Guinness World Record Day by attempting to break a world record! Some of them you won’t be able to do in one day, so consider this holiday to be your starting gun. After all, one such record is for the “Longest continually supported and updated Game”, an honor which goes to the unique wilderness survival game Unreal World . You can also head on over to Guinness World Records to find out what the latest records are, or just spend some time looking up things like the fastest land mammal, or longest ping pong game ever held!" ^sPm - #sharpharmade Fr 'Days of the Year' . #worldguinnessday #world #worldguinness #worldguinnessrecord #wp #fb #tweet #twitter #buffer #lpt #linkinbio #tagsforlike #follow #like #share #pop #blog #ig #insta #awesome #record #celebrate #enjoy #challenge #beautiful #amazing #awareness #breakarecord #makenew . @instagram @sharpharmade

Follow me on Instagram at sharpharmade! . Saturday November 19, 2016 is Have A Bad Day Day. "There’s nothing wrong or evil about having a bad day. There’s everything wrong with making others have to have it… with you. – Neil Cavuto And that, ladies and germs, is precisely why you should embrace the glory that is “Have a Bad Day Day”. When you’re having a bad day, you shouldn’t have to suffer alone, so wish everyone you meet “Have a Bad Day”, but do it with the brightest, cheeriest smile you can put on your face. Chaos, my friends, is the heart of the revolution, and all revolutions started on a Bad Day. There’s a job out there that ensures that you’re going to have a Bad Day, possibly dozens of times a day. What job is that? Anything in the customer service industry. We are all customers at some point in our lives, and unfortunately, that means that we all join the ranks of the truly walking dead. Retail customers, be afraid friends, be afraid. But this day gives our heroes in the customer service industry a chance to strike back … Every agent has to end their spiel, no matter how rotten the customer was, with the phrase “Have a Nice Day!”, but on this day, they get a reprieve from this monotonous platitude and get to instead assail their customers with that most delightful of passive-aggressive phrases. “Have a Bad Day!” announced in the cheeriest tone they can manage, and then they revel in the confusion as their customers try to make out whether or not they’ve just been insulted. They’ll never know. This day is your opportunity to get out there and truly wish the worst of the worst on people with a cheery “Have a Bad Day!”. Even if you’re not a customer service agent, you’re sure to know someone who deserves to be confused by being told to have a bad day in a voice that says have a good one. Vengeance is mine, sayeth the teller." ^sPm - #sharpharmade Fr 'Days of the Year' . #linkinbio #lpt #ig #insta #awesome #pop #beautiful #follow #like #celebrate #enjoy #wp #fb #twitter #tweet #buffer #tagsforlike #share #blog #bad #badday #haveabadday #haveabaddayday #nice . @instagram @sharpharmade
