Saturday October 8, 2016 is World Octopus Day. “As the name suggests, World Octopus Day celebrates one of the most distinctive creatures living on the planet today; the octopus. Octopuses are worthy of appreciation for a number of reasons. First of all, they are one of earth’s great survivors. Indeed, despite their relatively short life span, octopus fossils date back more than 300 million years, meaning that they pre-date even dinosaurs. They are also highly intelligent, with around 500 million neurons located in their brains and arms, allowing them to bypass their instincts, learn lessons and solve problems. In addition, they are visually stunning, coming in various different colors and shapes, while the Giant Pacific Octopus is able to grow to weigh more than 600 pounds! . So how should you celebrate World Octopus Day? How about a trip to a sea life center? Alternatively, put aside a small section of your day to simply learn more about these fascinating creatures." ^sPm - #sharpharmade Fr 'Days of the Year'. #fit #octopus #worldoctopusday #world #linkinbio #lpt #follow #like #pop #tagsforlike #tweet #twitter #ig #insta #wp #fb #blog #awesomecreatures #awesome #creature #creatureofthedeep #visuallystunning #stunning #eightarms #eightlegs . @Instagram @sharpharmade

Cook the onion in the butter over medium low heat until fragrant. Add the farmer’s cheese to the potatoes, and the onions as well. Combine well, and add as much salt and pepper as you like. In another large bowl, combine the flour, the egg and the warm water, kneading until you have a smooth dough. Roll it out until it’s about 1/8″ thick and use a large glass to cut out circles of it. Place one large teaspoon of the filling in the middle of each dough circle and seal the circle well, using a bit if water if needed to make sure the edges stick. Cook in batches of 10-12 in salted water for 7-10 minutes or until they float to the surface.
